EA SPORTS FC 24 players are reporting an absurd ‘no commentary bug’ that is removing commentary from matches.
Players have taken to social media to share their experiences with the issue and seek potential solutions.

I have been playing since the new launch. I downloaded the English commentary and sound. All working well but since yesterday the commentary and sound disappeared. I downloaded it again yesterday evening. Everything was fine. This morning the same issue the commentary and sound has gone from the game. (Source)
Anyone experience this? It may have something to do with the fact I’m in currently in a European Intl Cup that starts before the season, but I have absolutely no commentary at all. (Source)
EA’s latest football simulator, EA SPORTS FC 24, is reportedly experiencing issues with its commentary feature.
Much like many other modern-day sports games, EA SPORTS FC 24 offers dynamic commentary in matches, which is a vital feature for the overall gaming experience.
However, recent player reports claim that this feature has been facing some issues.
According to player grievances (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) even after downloading the necessary files and completing all the required steps, in-game matches are still lacking commentary.
The problem is further exacerbated by reports of a bug with the commentary language settings.
This bug allegedly occurs when players attempt to change the commentary language; it only displays the Brazil flag, and the change language button becomes grayed out.
I downloaded the game via Steam in PC and have been facing this issue. When I try to change the commentary language, Brazil flag is showing and the change language button is grayed out. (Source)
There is no clear reason yet for what is causing these absurd issues.
Potential workarounds for ‘no commentary bug’ in EA SPORTS FC 24
