Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout getting stuck on loading screen for Nintendo Switch players after latest update

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout players have lately been facing an issue where they keep getting stuck on the loading screen. It appears that the problem is affecting gamers not just on the Nintendo Switch but also on other platforms.

Mediatonic recently released the Fall Force update for Fall Guys, which features new obstacles and tools for builders.

These include bean barriers, buttons, carriable pressure plates, punching blocks, speed arches, and much more. The developers will also be releasing a handful of brand-new rounds in the next two weeks.

However, it seems there’s a problem with accessing the game after the latest patch.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), a number of players are getting stuck at the game’s loading screen after installing the recent update.

Apparently, they are unable to proceed to the main menu and enjoy playing the game even after waiting for a while.

Of course, this is terrible news for those who had been eagerly waiting to play the game after the ‘Fall Force’ update. It’s noteworthy that gamers are also encountering this issue on their laptops, PCs and Steamdeck units.

Sadly, the situation remains the same even after restarting the game and the device. And to make things worse, one cannot get a resolution to the problem even after verifying the game files or uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

This has left several bewildered, and they are looking for help on social media networks like Reddit and X. Nintendo Switch owners claim that the game fails to get past the loading screen even after taking off the joycons.

While those running the game on PC are allegedly facing this problem even after installing it from different sources like the Epic Game Store and Steam.

Although, they have noted that the anticheat service launches before opening the game, and after this, the game gets stuck.

Also, they cannot get it to run properly even after installing the latest graphic drivers and repairing the Visual C++ x64 and x86 redistributables.

I’ve been stuck on the first loading screen all day ever since I downloaded the new update.

Fortunately for some, the game runs without any issues on PlayStation.

The Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout support team is aware that the game keeps hanging for players across multiple platforms. As of now, they are working on fixing the bug.

As a workaround, you can try starting the game before you plug in the controllers. If this doesn’t work for you, then clear the saved data and try launching it again.

Luckily, you won’t lose the progress, currency, or costumes.
