The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark is a 2D adventure game available on platforms like Google Stadia.
However, players have been facing an issue which is preventing them from playing The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark on Google Stadia.

As per recent reports, Google Stadia users who have set their Google Account language as Spanish are facing this issue.
Also, it appears that the game does not load after the Akupara Games (game publisher) logo screen.
Fortunately, users might not have to wait for long before a fix for the said issue starts rolling out.

The official Darkside Detective Twitter handle has acknowledged the issue stating that they are preparing a patch to fix it.
It seems that the broken auto-detect feature for several languages including Spanish might be the culprit.
Moreover, a workaround has been provided so that Spanish users can play the game without any problems.

The workaround involves changing the Google Account language to English after which the game will start normally.
Once in the game, users can manually change the language to Spanish from the menu and play the game.
After that, users can change their Google Account language back to Spanish and the game will continue run normally on Google Stadia.

Hopefully, the game developer, Spooky Doorway, releases the patch with fix for the Spanish Google Stadia players soon.
That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
